The RAM is NON-serviceable, so it looks like you will be spending money to have it checked out and possibly fixed.

About a year ago on this forum, someone had bad RAM on a MBA, and sent it to a repair shop in Taiwan or China, and the RAM was replaced with a special soldering tool for about $100. if that thread can be found, may be worth a try.
