Macbook Air and Jetdrive Lite not remounted after wake up

I have a 2013 MacBook Air running High Sierra 10.13.6 with a Transcend Jetdrive Lite 128GB card as a harddrive extension. I am using it together with the JetdriveToolbox application to unmount/mount the card when putting the MBA into sleep mode. It worked pretty reliable until some time ago, when the Jetdrive would not be mounted again after waking the MBA up. The card disapears and is not detected anymore, also by the disk utility, until I physically remove it and put it back into the slot or restart the MBA. Is anyone here using a Jetdrive Lite with his Mac and has similar problems? And maybe a suggestion/solution?

i have the same issue except it's on a macbook pro. other than that it's exactly the same.

any suggestions as to how i can fix this are very welcome!

I had the same issue and got the drive appearing again after sleep by resetting the PRAM:

mine stared remounting again but i get a bunch of "Disk Not Ejected Properly" notifications every time i wake my mac... dunno what's wrong
