I have a Late-2010 MBP 13" and a Mid-2011 MBA 13"
I bought the MBP 13" because it was the best machine I could buy for the amount of money I wanted to spend. I also took into consideration that I might have to use it as a portable computer if need be.
I just recently purchased a MBA 13" and WOW is it ever sweet. For the last week I have been using both doing the usually daily tasks. The only task that is slower on my MBA is Photo Editing (as expected) and Video Processing. Other than that both machines are virtually the same except the MBA is more portable. Photos and Videos are a big part of what I do so a MBA would never be a desktop replacement for me.
