Hi I have replaced whole LCD screen on my Macbook AIR A2179 with this screen: https://www.fixshop.eu/spare-parts-...front-glass-case-silver-original-refurbished/

Old LCD had broken flex cable and often had black lines through screen. Sometimes when I opened / closed screen or open little bit more it was fine. But it was annoying so I decided to change screen. The new screen (refurbished) is fine, but when I logged to Mac, backlight goes down about 70 percent. Regulation si working, but on max backlight it is very low. I tried SMC reset but no change. Is it possible that new screen is bad or are there more types or versions of screen that could make this behavior? When I turn off Mac after logon and than turn back on situation is low backlight. Sometimes after longer time tured off it starts up with normal backlight but after logon it is back low.

If I let system on login page than it is on full backlight.

Hi there.
Try to disable the Automatic adjust brightness setting on System preferences > display.
See what's happens.
Also try run the diagnostics:

disabled Automatic adjust - no change
I can't login to WIFI in diagnostic menu I'll keep trying but I don't know what is problem. Btw now I'm posting this replay on Safari and Wifi is working. Password is correct.

If you can, boot in safe mode to see what's happens.

In safe mode it is still the same. Same behavior. Small intensity. In fact now it is very hard to get the state with normal intensity. I must disconnect battery, try to power on, try SMC reset then try on/off. And sometimes I get full intensity like in video. Supplier want to send LCD back to inspect. So I must again disassembly Mac and remove LCD and send back to seller. Thanks for advices.

After replacing another screen is everything OK. Thanks for helping to resolve issue.
