MacBook Air Battery Drain w/ 60W charger

Hi there, the 45W charger to my 2011 MBA died, so I used a 60W Magsafe charger and I've experienced a huge battery drain; it'll decrease about 1% every 2-3 minutes even when I leave it alone. Before I was able to use it for hours before having to charge it, but currently I'm charging it after every hour. 🙁 Will I have to replace my battery or will purchasing a 45W Magsafe 1 charger do the trick?

As far as I know, using the 60 wat charger shouldn't be any different from the 45 watt one. I use both and notice no difference. Perhaps you need to reset the SMC, since that deals with the battery:

My original 45W charger died so I went to Best Buy, but they didn't have the 45 MagSafe 1 charger so I went with the 60 and it's been draining ever since 🙁
