Hi folks, I'm grappling with an unusual bluetooth problem on my 2020 Macbook Air with Big Sur.

When waking from sleep, both my Apple Bt keyboard and Logitech Bt mouse are disconnected. I see as much in the control center. Clicking the devices I want to reconnect does nothing. When I turn Bt off entirely it won't even turn back on, and then I can only restart the device to get it to work again.

What can I do? Is there a way to reset the bluetooth module?

As always, thanks for the replies.

I’m not running BS but in previous OSs I believe one could right/option click on the BT icon in the menu bar and one option was to reset the module. Perhaps take a look in BS? Good luck

Even more options, if you hold alt/option key, if remember correct. Maybe shift too 🤔 . There is definitely a key combination, that show extra menu items.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but was there ever any resolution to this? My wife's 2020 MBA has exactly the same issue. A reboot brings back Bluetooth, but it will fail again after a period of time. Have tried resetting the Bluetooth, and didn't make any difference. Always works after a fresh reboot, always dead after some time (days?).
