So on my MacBook Air, when I try to connect to FaceTime I get a message that says no camera available, to use FaceTime connect a camera. I have already tried the sudokill all method on the terminal, I already tried resetting, and killing VDCAssistant on the activity monitor. I have never dropped my macbook.

The only thing I DID do is spray my keyboard to clean it.. dumb. I KNOW..
is there any way that this could be related to liquid damage?
Everything else is working perfectly. The only thing that isn't working is the camera.

yes the only thing that comes out is "lockdown browser" which is what my school uses for us to take exams for online classes
So, lockdown browser has access to your camera? That should mean it's working. Check it in System Information (Applications/Utilities/System Information.app) too.

it does because i have it downloaded it on my Mac, but if i were to actually attempt to use the webcam on lockdown it’s not detected

I'm not sure for your model, but open Applications/Utilities/System Information.app and check under Camera or USB

FYI, I have a similar problem on an iMac Pro.

Hardware/Camera says "no video capture devices were found".

But USB shows the built-in camera present.

Doing the logical thing next, and calling Apple support...
