    Hello Guys,

My (late 2010) MacBook Air has some strange sleep behavior. My MacBook Air goes to sleep normally when i close the lid, but after a while it wakes up?

Anyone knows what this could be?? i think its vmware fusion related.

    Here are to log files:

I'm having the same issue with my '10 MBA. It started occurring after encrypting with SecureDoc earlier this week. After digging through the console each time this has happened I've yet to see a single thing to actually suggest that the encryption has anything to do with the problem. Obviously correlation does not equal causation but the timing is suspicious none the less.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sure the MacBook Air is supposed to do that... isn't that how it achieves its 30 day standby time?

They are waking up while closed on their own when they are supposed to remain sleeping. For me it seems to wake up exactly every 70 minutes and continues to do so until it locks the computer forcing a reboot or kills the battery. This is not working as intended.

I'm having the same problem. According to "pmset -g", the hibernation delay is 4200 seconds (70 minutes). Although once in hibernation, I can't seem to wake it without a forced restart. And sometimes the power is on, but the screen is blank. I know it's on because the volume and caps lock keys work.
