macbook air hinges are broken. PLEASE PLEASE HELP :(

Hello people,

i've got a huge problem, my macbook air hinges are broken and my macbook now lies practically flat 🙁

I have read many places that this is a common problem and apple will fix it even if it is out of warranty. But the problem is, i bought it from eBay and I have had it for around 3 months.

so basically what i am trying to ask is will apple still fix my macbook air even though i do not have a receipt.

you will never need a receipt unless they need to prove you have apple care.

just take it i for repair.

looks like you're covered even with out Apple Care:

Resolution
You can take your MacBook Air to an Apple-Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store for evaluation and repair if necessary, even if your product is out of warranty.
