MacBook Air late 2010 4gb with High Sierra?

Hi everyone,

I have a late 2010 11” MacBook Air with 4GB of ram and running El Capitan. I’m considering upgrading to High Sierra. Does anyone have any experience running High Sierra on this machine? Does it run well, comparable to El Capitan?

Hi Douglas, I got the same machine as you do I just upgraded from El Capitan to High Sierra 10.13.6 the other day, and it works fine, other than a thing that kinda bothers me a bit regarding the login screen and the it kinda overheats a bit while watching videos but i want to believe it is because the battery has to be replaced and needs to be internally cleaned since the last owner never did that.

Other than that it works fine.

Hey Douglas i just realised mine is 2011 and no 2010, here you can check if it is compatible or not, http://dosdude1.com/highsierra/ . Cheers
