If you mean a replacement part, I think you'll have to go to Apple for now. 3rd party supplies will be around eventually.

I think the LCD in the AIR is the same as the macbook, if so, get a cheap replacement from Ebay.

    Good luck

    Think again.

The LCD in the Air is the same size as the MacBook, but is totally different.

Yep. For starters, the MBA has an LED-backlit screen; the MacBook does not.

Also, the initial indications are that the MBA's top deck (the bits with the screen and the top case) are an integrated unit, not really intended to be opened.

But I have to ask: Why are you interested?

I had secretly hoped to graft an AIR display onto my 2007 MacBook2,1.
The only thing my old MacBook is lacking display resolution.

When replacing the screen in the air it comes as 1 whole unit, you have to replace the whole lid.

I took my air for a new screen, it had a blemish on it, and the guy said that because its all fixed they will have to put a whole new lid on it

so i dont think you will be able to replace it unless you get a whole part, i think they are about 280 pounds in the uk and apple charged about 24 for fitting it, thats what it said on my invoice, but i didnt have to pay because mine was still under warranty
