Hello all!
My USB-C port on my M1 Macbook air stopped working the other week. I got a replacement part from ifixit (I was just 3 weeks out of apple care) and replaced it myself. Luckily it started working again.

Today it stopped working again. The only parts I touched were the battery connection port and the area related to the USB-C port. Do any of you have any experience this ?

Thank you!

Is this just the USB ports? Are they completely dead (and the battery won't charge, for example?), and not just that USB devices won't appear?
Do USB ports appear in System Information?

The USB-C ports attach to the logic board, of course.
So, if the USB ports have failed, and you have tried replacing the USB port card, now you have the logic board as the likely fault.

So, if a USB drive works, what about the USB ports does not work? Charging?
Primary charging port would be the rear-most port, but try both...
Maybe it's not the USB port, but is the charging adapter?

Just 3 weeks out of Apple Care Warranty? You didn’t want to bring it to Apple and see if they could help?
