MacBook Air M2 deal from Apple purchase

Apple Store never ever usually had deals. I just bought my new M2 Air yesterday from Best Buy $1,249 8GB/512GB and 35w charger. I thought what a great deal. Then I decided to go to Apple website and configured the same thing but with 16GB ram and 70w charger. $1,479 plus a digital $150 Apple gift card included. Guess what is going back?!?! I already put the new order in.

This promo has run a few years now. You're not supposed to buy from third party retailers between June and October each year during BTS.

Did not know that. I also went the Best Buy route since I have TotalTech. AppleCare added free with purchase. But, they don’t offer a 16GB/70w adapter config. So, I am having to pay for AppleCare this time. Damn 16GB Apple tax!

Yeah, you got the back to school pricing (as did I) as well as the same configuration of the MBA.
