Macbook Air M4 trackpad issues

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

When I use my trackpad (MBA M4 15"), the mouse sometimes doesn't move, or it moves really jittery. I'm running the latest version of Sequoia. I've cleaned the trackpad with rubbing alcohol and I've rebooted. I've increased the trackpad speed, but it still looks jittery. Haven't seen this on any other macbooks in the past and my wife's M2 is fine. Also, when I use a separate mouse (logitech), it works properly.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the trackpad may have debris underneath you can't see or get to, or it may be damaged.

That's what I was thinking, but I thought force touch wouldn't have problems with debris 🤷‍♂️
