Recently i recived this Macbook as a gift, and the problem begun! When i was starting it for the first time fan run at full speed, no sound and the CPU throttling even if the Air was not hot. I open it guessing on some Sensor error to check board and find out that inside there was such a mess, missing screw, heat-sync bendend and so on, can't belive it was still power on. The I/O connetcor was bended, i genlty adjust and recconect it. I completely disassembled and re-assembled the entire Macbook. Now everything works but there is a problem with charging circuit i guess, becouse charger light on magsafe stays orange even without battery socket connected to the logicboard, and as far i know thats not normal.
When i plug in the magsafe the Air bootup, just like when there is no battery connected, but light stays orange even if there is no battery.
Maybe the battery it's dead due to under-charge. Coconut battery says that percentage is 0% and design capacity "NaN", the strange thing is that the battery sensor is reporting -187 g.celsius. Everyway the battery seems to be detected.
One more thing is that I'm not able to do a SMC reset, key combination don't work. Doing disconnecting battery and keep pushing power button led me to SMC bypass mode but no reset. There could be a problem at this level?
The other thing that i noticed inspecting the Logic is that there is some kind of burned sing in the "L3895" related to
PPVIN_SW_TBTBST / TBTBST_BOOST
