MacBook Air Opaque Screen

I have a MacBook Air I-7 running El Capitan; it's about 3 years old. I had the battery replaced a couple weeks ago and now the screen is opaque, not colorful.

Are the two things possibly related? Is there a quick fix to restore the Mac Air's color?
