Hello I will be using it for my university degree in Information Technology some of the courses are Application Programming , Web Programming and mostly Systems Development courses and would also like to code Ios apps as a hobby.Will 256GB be enough since i am only going to use it for my university classes and gaming will be on my desktop.


1)Macbook Air 2018
-16GB Ram
-512GB SSD ($2551 SGD)

2)Macbook Pro 13 Inch
-16GB Ram
-256GB SSD ($2690) + External 256GB SSD SanDisk Ultra Fit

I have the same dilemma. MBP and Air are essentially the same price with 16GB of RAM and over 1TB HD(1TB on MBP and 1.5TB on AIR). What should I get?/???? I like the portability of AIR, but I don't really travel that much. 50% of the time or more it will be plugged into a monitor.
