The ultimates will still fetch a good price, the rest I don't think so.
It better be giving you a good price. Don't forget you paid $400 or $500 more up front to get the so called "ultimate" (depending or 11" or 13"). Your selling price in the future has to be $400 or 500 more just to break even with the base model.
Say in a year, the base model is indeed worth $450, and you'll need to sell you "ultimate" for ~$900. Meanwhile, people can buy the next generation base model for $1000, which will make your "ultimate" look like antique.
