I just got a macbook air from a 2013 macbook pro but im having some issues trying to adjust to the non retina display lol but my question is the following.I remember back in 2013 macbook airs came with two types of screen either samsung or LG, and apparently the samsung screens where better, are the 2017 all the same now or still like that? Thanks :)

Compared to a retina screen they are the same.

They are both low resolution, and any minor colour improvement the Samsung screen has over LG is still far from what you get with the retina screen. No manufacturer will ever release a product that has visible improvements without increasing the price, so any difference will be small.
