Hi All,

Just picked up a new MacBook Air (2019) - will be using it for MBA course/study and so looking to buy a monitor.

Want the monitor to be 21inch or so and clueless as to what cables etc I will need for this to work?

Do you have a similar set-up?

Help and recommendations, please!

Cheers,

Looking at screens now and 25inch is probably more likely. I cant see the hub you've suggested for sale in the UK.

Sorry to sound dumb - but is it as simple as MacBook, hub, cable and screen - is that all I need?

I've had a Dell U2715H 27 inch for a few years that I use with my MBA via the mini DP (Display Port) cable (comes with the monitor) and an ARKTEK USB-C to Mini DP Adapter (less than £10 from Amazon).

So: monitor, cable, adapter (if monitor is not USB-C native) will get you going.

The second screen is a really nice set-up with the MBA.
