MacBook Air Striped screws

I'm trying to open up my MacBook Air to replace the fan (it sounds like a jet engine, even @ 2000 RPM) but some of the screw heads on the bottom panel of the case got striped. Is there any way I can get them out?
 
Apply some heat (hairdryer) and place an elastic band between the head of the screw and tip of the driver.
