Ummm, what I meant is what size? Those look like different sizes, not only different model years (I know the bottom one aint an air... :D )

The top one looks like a 2011 11", the middle one like 1 13" previous gen. If that is the case, aren't we comparing the proverbial apples to oranges? Wouldn't a picture of the same size MBAs, different gens, be more appropriate to the topic of the thread?

Comparisons of the 13" current design and the 13" older design. Enjoy.

Well, the middle one is the old one. The first Macbook Airs only came out in the 13" variety I believe. It had that stupid drop down hideaway usb thing, right?

Sweet. Thanks!

Cheers mate. As an owner of a mid-2009 Air for a little under two years now, and having compared it to the newer ones in the local Apple Store, I can say that the older ones still hold themselves compared to the new ones build-wise. Not to say that the new ones aren't extremely nice, but the old ones were no slouch. The older ones are marginally, unnoticeably thicker at the end, and more rounded in general. Other than that, they're the same beautiful laptop.

And as for that little port door, I've been using it for nearly two years now and haven't had a single issue with it. I actually rather like the little bugger :)
