I had a look around but didn't see a thread like this, not sure if it would be useful to have a place where people can get market value estimates on used models they are looking to buy or sell.
[doublepost=1477844255][/doublepost]I will start off!

I have a mid 2012 11" MacBook Air core i7, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Japanese keyboard layout!

What is it worth to sell.

It depends.

For one, how you sell it. If you're selling it to someone who's running a resale company you'll get less than if you sold it to someone else over amazon marketplace/ebay/some forum because there reseller has to make a profit. And if you sell it to someone else over amazon/ebay/forum you'll get less than if you sold it to someone in person via Craigslist or other 'local' listing because of shipping/paypal fees etc.

Then there's condition. Are there dings/scrapes/scratches anywhere? Has it been around smokers? Does it include all the original stuff (box, chargers, manuals)?

Finally, there's demand. You can check on various locations (Amazon, Ebay, Craigslist, forums) for what people are asking for this model of MBA, but that doesn't mean that anyone's buying. Usually if you want it to sell faster, you'll have to lower the price.

Anyways to ballpark what you're offering. I think you'd be looking at $400-600 tops, depending on how you sold it and condition.

Microsoft's bid is $325!!! Do I hear $330?

Original box, in mint condition because I used it with a slim protective case, it has a new power supply because the old one got grimy so is also in mint condition, the only thing it is missing are the Apple stickers that came in the box.

Hah nice. Yeah probably $450-550 depending on where you sold it.
