i recently had bought a used macbook air 2014 model a1466. it was working fine and then one day i went to turn it on and it showed a gray folder with question mark.
i tried to restarting it once more and the macbook turned on but the screen just stayed back and the keyboard wouldnt even light up.
iv tried pretty much i could find on the internet from unplugging the battery to every start up command i could find and it wont get past the black screen, i have also tried replacing the SSD with no luck
the only command that happens to work is control-option-shift-power, but that only restarts it back to the black screen.

going to a apple store isnt in option since im miles away from one

i would appreciate any help or information i could recive.

When you reboot your macbook and you hear the little startup ding hold down option and click the hard drive your mac os is installed on. See if that helps.

i have already tried this, i held option for a good couple of minutes and nothing comes up. i think it might be the logic board
