MacBook Air won't start up

Hi. Yes I did search for it, but I couldn't find the same problem.

My friend's MacBook Air crashed. It blacked out, and turned off. Now, when he presses the power button, he gets a beep, and that's it. the white LED light also doesn't flash. It's a short, soft beep.

Any ideas😕

On my powerbook G3 I use to have to reset the PRAM I beleave check Apple's support section and see how to do that. Also try putting it on charge then turning it on.

I wouldn't F with it.
Just take it to Apple and let the idiots at the genius bar fail at it before they send it for repair.
