Macbook Air2011, Snow leopard Display

so i installed snow leopard on my 2011 macbook air using this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1352079/
and the laptop display dosent work only when i plug it into my monitor i installed the kexts and that fixed the resolution on it but didnt fix the macbook display, any tips? 😕

given that 2011 was the year of Lion, I'd say there are firmware updates that prevent (successful) installation of earlier OS X.
perhaps your simple solution would be to erase and clean install of ML and everything will 'just work'.
