this just happened to me recently

Has anyone had this happen to them recently? The rest of these posts are back in 2007, so maybe it's a different update causing this?

I have a MacBook Pro Intel 10.4.11, 1.83 GHz

My problem is the same as in the first post: the fact that my wireless intermittently drops and although the signal strength is still showing full i have no internet connection. I can either close and reopen or just turn off airport and turn it back on

Oh, Internet connectivity a common problem with the entire MacBook Pro line. For some reason, there has been little if any discussion of it on MacRumors, but there are a number of threads and dozens of posts on the Mac support forum. It's really oddthat people on this forum just don't seem to be concerned wit this issue.

I bought a 17" Macbook Pro and a 15" Macbook Pro within the past four weeks. Both lose connectivity frequently after periods of sleep or after any peripheral such as a printer or scanner is used. I can get back on line only after a Restart. I've spent hours on the phone with Apple Support and the dealer (who is an authorized Apple repair specialist) has tried everything he knows. I bought a new Airport Extreme router, and I even had a new modem installed. Nothing changes.

I am now wondering what the guarantee means. Does Apple have to replace my computers or give me a refund if they can't resolve this problem?

This problem for me has been happening for a couple of months now. Literally, I'll have full signal and it shows that I'm still connected but nothing works. Up to this point I've just been rebooting the router, I tried changing channels, and that hasn't worked. I have a hard wire into my xbox and it drops there as well which sucks because it drops my XBL. I hooked up my Airtunes and that works perfectly, no issues ever when that is connected. Is there any other troubleshooting tips that I can try?
