I compared them in the Apple store and the screens are very similar. The alumibooks have slightly brighter screens, and the whitebooks have slightly better viewing angles and slighty better default colours. No idea how they compare once both are calibrated though. The differences are so minor between the screens you really have to look hard for them. For most purposes they can be considered pretty much the same screens except for the glossy glass on the new books.
