Well whenever I put my macbook to sleep it drains the battery ridiculously fast, normally if its at 100% and i put it to sleep for 6 hours its reduced to about 10%. Ive heard its a common issue does anyone know of a fix? or if it would be fixed in 10.5.7?

I have searched but couldnt find anything definite.

I pretty much calibrate once a week, its hard not to when ur macbook loses 90% charge over night. But I do calibrate "properly" regularly and always have right from when i got it out of the box.

This same thing happened to me. I tried reseting the PRAM and SMC to no avail. I had to send it back and got a replacement.
