I'm considering getting a Mac and I'm toying between the idea of a Blackbook with a Apple 23" display or a Macbook Pro. I'd rather have the external monitor for the occasions when I'm sat at a desk for days on end but I'm concerned about the video out quality. Could someone let me know what the quality is like on a Macbook and whether my worries are unfounded?!

Thanks.

The MacBook is capable of supporting a 23" display and has digital output. There should be no difference in "quality" between MacBook and any other computer.

Agreed. Great quality on MB's video out to a 23" Keep in mind that the RAM for the video card is shared with the main memory (144MB I believe?).
