I've been reading over the forums and it looks like I'm going with the updated white macbook over the alum macbook (need the firewire).

My question, what can you really expect out of the Nvdia 9400m?

I'm putting 4gigs of Ram in mine. I'm a huge fan of Blizzard and cannot wait for Starcraft 2. I hope this thing could handle it.

Anyone have any theories or experience using the macbook for gaming?

the 9400m will easily handle WC3 and WOW. StarCraft 2 is a real-time strategy, and this genre don't tend to be graphics intensive.

First person shooter games are the ones that 9400 will struggle in.

youll be fine

I disagree. I had the 8400m in my old laptop and it didn't hand games well at all. The 9400m isn't much better either. It should run it, quite smooth actually but at low settings.

WoW ran terribly on my white Intel GMA950 Macbook.

It's finally very playable on my 2.4 Unibody Macbook. I see frame rates from the 20s to 40+ per second. The keyboard will get quite warm after 10 minutes or so though.
