macbook and linksys router for PC

wife using PC through Linksys Router. If I buy a MacBook will I have a problem Wi-Fi through that router. Read about a problem with "kernel panics" if not a Mac router.

No problems what so ever. I have only ever had linksys routers and never had a problem.

There aren't Mac or PC routers. They're just routers.
