Macbook and MSN

I am so excited today as I just bought my Macbook 2Ghz white color. I have been waiitng forever for it to arrive here in my country the United Arab Emirates. 😀

Well, I am a bit new to the Mac world so I wanted to get your advice on the best way to download the MSN messanger to my MAC. Because I have tried downloading and the exe file will not open! So is there a special thing for MAC ?😕 😕 😕 😕

Are you running MacOS X (Tiger) on this Mac or Windows? .exe files are Windows programs.

To find out about Mac versions of MS software, visit Mactopia. You can get MSN Messenger there.

For some MS programs availble there, you may need Stuffit Expander.

Please be aware that the Mac version of MSN Messenger does NOT support webcam. The current alternatives are discussed in other threads here, including Mercury Messenger, aMSN, using Skype, and using iChatAV and AIM.

If you do only text-based IM, you may wish to consider Adium or Proteus.

Since you have a MacBook, you can install Windows XP and get proper MSN Messenger that way!

This is truly the best website for MAC users.. u guys respond quickly and dont hesitate to offer help! I just downloaded the MSN and I started to get connected with my friends 🙂

By the way I am falling in love with my MACBOOK ! It is soo coool, I started using the i photo and i cal, its sooOo Awesome 😱 😀 🙂 😉
