i will be a switcher in a few days... i think i am buying the aluminum macbook(2.4) because a need a future proof laptop... also this will be my main computer... i dont know if this computer will be enough(i cannot afford more than this)... i will be making word processing, web surfing, downloading music, videos, watching videos at youtube... making movies with imovie and some photoshop... also i will be using it for some game like CS, team fortress....(steam games)
please answer

i dont want a pc beacuse i am tired of them and its crashes....

keep in mind that this isnt the best gaming laptop but for computer usage, you have nothing to worry about

Be sure that for iMovie purposes you have a camera that is either hard disk or flash memory based, and not a tape-based DV camera. There is no Firewire in the MacBook.

You could save a few more bucks and buy a referb. You will love the computer!😀
