Im sorry to highjack but im in the same boat.I am interested in moving to a macbook from a mini.My only concern is the magsafe adapter.I dont wanna burn down my apartment.Should i still purchase the macbook or just stay safe with my mini.Thanks in advance.

There's been some isolated incidents of the MagSafe overheating. It's not as widespread an issue as say, the damn CRACKS on the enclosures, but...anyway - if ayone's really paranoid about that happening, don't leave the MB on charge when you're sleeping, or any other time when it's unattended...
