macbook as wireless hub

can i use my macbook as a wireless hub to get other items online? say, for instance, cat5 my macbook and then use that to get my psp online?

thank you very much... i tried searching but i wasnt sure what to search under and when i did a search for "macbook as a wireless hub" way more things came up than i wanted. i just didnt need to know about the macbook air....
