    Hi there,

I'm thinking of getting the new macbook and plan to use it for my main computer. Does anyone use this as their main computer? My main usage is

    - web browsing
    - emails
    - Spotify
    - lots of YouTube and movies
    - light photo editing.

So I think that would be sufficient and probably don't need the 2015 mbpr.

But I'd like to hear your thoughts. Is the macbook your main machine?

For almost a year I only had my MacBook Pro as the only computer, also connected to a monitor.

It did all the tasks fine, coding (HTML, CSS, JS and PHP), browsing, watching media, gaming (D3 and WoW), a bit of photo editing.

rMB will handle these fine except for gaming (depends on settings), the only issue is lack of ports but that's easily sorted with a dock/hub.

It will be PERFECT. I'm still using my white MacBook as my only computer for similar things. I plan on a rose gold MacBook Retina maybe in a years time. I've never understood why people have more than one computer but hey, each to their own I guess.

Sounds like it would be fine for what you want to do.
