Hello everyone.
I hope you are doing well.

So i had this crazy behaviour a few times. Thank God it happens rarely but it happened more than once and now am trying to find the reason.

I was watching Youtube and then Ended the Browser. DuckduckGo in this case.
The audio of the Video i was watching kept streaming in the backround only issue,,,,, i had switched all apps down.
Musik, All Browers, Everything that could playback something was Off.
Yet the Audio kept playing. I eventually when this happens have to restart the Computer.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? What could this be? Some „Audio Buffer“ playing? It is driving me insane

Apple: "Keep in mind that if you click the Close button in the top-left corner of an app’s window, the window closes, but the app remains open (a small dot below the app’s icon in the Dock indicates that the app is still open)."

Hi there and thank you so much for taking the time.
I was not aware of this with the Dot so will keep an eye next time.

My issue is that this very rarely happens and when it happens i cannot rationally explain it.

I always or at least 99% of the time use command+q in order to close an App.

In this case i even went into the Activity monitor and one by one Force quit All browsers and All apps that have anything relevant to do with audio. The Audio kept on playing
I even startet all browsers one by one and then quit them one by one just to make sure
