I sent my MacBook in for repairs for backlight issues. I got it back, and it seems the backlight issue is gone, but now the backlight always flashes once when I turn it on or wake it up from sleep. It didn't do this before the repair. What's up with that?

And the MacBook is incredibly slow. It has 1 GB of RAM, and I had 2 GB of RAM in there before (I swapped it out before sending it in). Does the 1 GB make THAT much of a difference? I remember using the MacBook with only 512 MB of RAM, and it's not that bad...

the flash is just the screen powering on. I think i saw my friend's blackbook do that.

Thanks guys. Mine didn't do that before, but guess it's not important.

Just put the 2 GB back in, and Photoshop CS2's suddenly running sensibly again.

Damn, can't wait for CS3! Goodbye Rosetta!
