So about a year ago my fiance was messing around with some friends and ended up spilling water all over her MacBook. She did all the normal things like take out the battery, unplug it, etc. and proceeded to let it dry out for a few days, but the thing would never turn on again. We took it to a certified repair center and they told us it was "fried". So we went out and bought her a new MacBook again and stuck the old one in a closet.

Fast forward a year later. I was doing some spring cleaning and came upon said MacBook. I decided for fun i would plug it in to see what would happen. I plugged it in, the little green charging light came on, and it turned right on. It even resumed from where it was a year ago when it "broke".

So now here I am posting this on my very first Macintosh. I am looking forward to trying something new. I have been a Windows guy my whole life, but so far I dig it.

    Anyway that's my story!
