Macbook battery health is bad

hi there im just wanting to know if my macbook is in good condition for its age, its 31 months old and its health is 71% and it has done 522 cycles is that good ? thanks :)
Old thread! Considering the fact that your battery is designed to hold up to 80% of its capacity up to 300 cycles and you're close to double that, you're doing good.
My MacBook is 46 months old and the battery health is pretty poor at only 69% health with 378 cycles. This MacBook is used so my guess is the previous owner kept it plugged it in alot which has caused the diminished capacity. Getting about 2 hours with basic internet browsing and iTunes use; going to purchase a new one soon.
Given the age and cycles on your battery, it's doing good.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

I would say that's decent. I've been through three replacements of batteries with Apple so far, but this latest one is really great! 431 cycles, 98% health, and about 2:30-3:00 hour of charge time, and 30 months old.

Just make sure you do your regular charge/discharge cycles, keep the battery cooled (use a laptop fan or something of that sort), and don't keep it plugged in ALL the time.
