when my macbook is at home on my desk would it be better for me to take the battery out rather than keep running it off the battery?

Leave it in. Take the battery out won't extend the life span of it.

The battery will be fine if you leave it in, it charges to 99%, then sorta sits there between 99% and 95% and charges back up again. Don't worry, your MB is smart enough not to overcharge its battery. But NEVER take your battery out, the computer will run at 1 Ghz and if you just jitter that magsafe enough, pow... off.

Hello guys I'm a little worried about the batery of my new macbook, it just have 1 week with me and shows 98% of charge, I leave my macbook plugged in almost all the day and I use disconnect at leaste 1 time per week.

I am doing things in the right way??... leaving my macbook plugged to the adapter most part of the time...this is good for the health of my battery??

    Perfect!
Just to clarify everything, can I leave my macbook plugged to the adapter without damaging the battery?
I mean I use my macbook plugged to the adapter not everyday (5 days connected and maybe 2 using the battery), the rest I disconnect it at least 1 time per week, is this method safe for the life and health of my battery???

It's fine to leave it plugged in constantly. The recommendation is to calibrate it once a month but other than that...I use my MacBook probably 99.3% of the time plugged in. The battery is still functioning fine after 5 months of using it this way.

    Don't worry about it.

Is there any way you can purposely slow down the processor speed of a Macbook? I need to save some battery life on my next trip!

As far as an answer, I don't know if you can or not.
