Macman45 macrumors G5 Sep 27, 2012 #2 It's noting to be concerned about....If you want to try something I'd let the battery drain right down, then re-set the SMC: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 Then charge it again...There is a widely accepted 3% margin of error anyway.

D drambuie macrumors 6502a Sep 27, 2012 #4 I noticed this with my MBP when it was new, but then I discovered that if you let it discharge to below 90%, then recharge it power off, it will go to 100%.
