Macbook Battery Sensor at 98%

My macbook pro stays a 98% even though it's fully charged and plugged into an outlet. I've had his mac for barely less than a month.

It's noting to be concerned about....If you want to try something I'd let the battery drain right down, then re-set the SMC:

Then charge it again...There is a widely accepted 3% margin of error anyway.

Yup, totally normal.

I noticed this with my MBP when it was new, but then I discovered that if you let it discharge to below 90%, then recharge it power off, it will go to 100%.
