    since there are some cpu's intel has released that can be directly applied to the macbook, a small 133Mhz bump basically. many are aware of this possibility. my question is, if they do a bump of the cpu/hd/etc. for the macbook do you think they will include the white macbook in those bumps?

    I'm thinking it could go either way. Here's the bumps I'm hoping for:

    2.0Ghz/120GB/2GB DDR2 -> 2.133Ghz/160GB/2GB DDR2

    2.0Ghz/160GB/2GB -> 2.133Ghz/250GB/2GB
    2.4Ghz/250GB/2GB -> 2.533GHz/320GB/4GB

    Of course, if they bumped up the high end macbook, they'd also have to bump the low end macbook pro. But, as I said, they might just leave the white macbook alone.

    Hard to say but I doubt they would update the Unibodies and not the White. I think the MacRumor Buyers' Guide is wrong and that updates will come in May.

    lol, yea those threads are all the same:

    1. What's the next update?
    2. We don't know, buy now if you need it.
    3. Did you do a search.
    4. Why are you posting this.
    5. Wait for SL.
    6. Buy now if you need.

    BTW, I've ordered my new Macbook, but I'm waiting till Wednesday to pick up, just in case there is a slight bump!

    I think, if they start not updating the White Macbook, they are hinting an EOL for it, which would make sense IMO. But maybe not, maybe it will be around a long time.
