I've just bought a macbook - my MBP was feeling lonely! 😀 But after hunting around I've found a few deals! Originally I found a discount for johnlewis.com which gave a whopping 20% off the total price - but I ordered a bit too late and they pulled the code and the barstewards cancelled my order! On top of that I've found that quidco.com ( a cash back web site ) also gave a 4% discount/cash back at John Lewis which meant that my new Macbook would only cost me £690 (2Ghz white model) All irrevelant since they cancelled my order 😡
After more digging around I found that if you have an Egg credit card they give a link that gives 10% discount at dixons. After digging around I found a few discount codes - 1 that gives 5% off ( code : YAW271 ) I also found a code that gives £50 off with orders over £500 ( code : PERKZ50DIX ) also a free delivery code ( code : TISCALI199 ) All in all I got my Macbook for £764 including my cashback from Egg - granted it's not as good as a refurb from the Applestore though - but they've all but gone!
Also it would appear that for now I've had the last of the White 2Ghz Macbooks on Dixons! 😛
