Hi there,

I've had my MacBook for two months now and I absolutely love it but over the last few weeks I've been getting a very loud and distracting buzzing noise 24/7. It's similar to that of a fridge and when I rest my forearms on the machine while typing the buzzing noise becomes distinctly higher pitched and the same goes if I randomly put pressure on area's of the Mac around the keys.

I read somewhere that the hard-disk could be misplaced, does anyone know if this is the problem?

I also get a clicking noise when I press on the case near the USB ports, could this be a potential problem?

I think that this happens with age but the bottom of my MacBook also gets very hot when charging for about 20-30 mins.

Despite those few problems the Mac is amazing and I'd recommend anyone to get it over a Windows OS (unless you're
C++ programming, or you can afford both).

I'd really like to solve the buzzing, I work in a quiet room so it tends to be very annoying. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

Much love,

Giovanni.

Does it buzz when the fans are off? I've had mine for longer than two months and it doesn't buzz... But it is a little rowdy when the fans are on (noisier over summer months and hotter too)
