One last question: Tomorrow, I will be purchasing my MacBook. I will be doing it at an Apple Store, and it is around 3 hours away from my house, so I want to make sure the thing works before I leave. Does the MacBook have a full charge in it? I heard reports that it did, but I want to make sure.

Thanks!

From what I read, full charge. A whole bunch of people here just bought one, someone ought to know!

I picked-up my BlackBook 3-days ago...

and transferred all my data from my MB 2.16 in the Apple Store. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to transfer everything, and they utilized firewire (they didn't use the charger). I got the BlackBook home and noticed that the battery was now at 75% and (1) cycle, and when I charged it up it showed 100% and 5403=5403 mAh, so I'm confident you'll have "a full charge" for your new MB! :p

they normally come halfway charged or so. at least thats been my experience with 2 mb's.

on the topic of battery, what does "battery health" mean?

"Battery Health" = Current Max Charge (in mAh)/Original Max Charge (in mAh)
