Hi, Since upgrading my wife's laptop to OS X Lion (it's a late 2009 white Macbook) the click on the trackpad doesn't work. You can tap to click if it's configured but the click just isn't working. It was working perfectly fine before the upgrade.

I've tried resetting the PRAM but don't really know what else I could try. Any ideas would be really appreciated, thanks

the click is no longer a local setting for lion you just use gesture, look on apple site to find the video of the gestures for localizing the setups for click, right click, etc.

Can you click when booted from a Snow Leopard disc? This will tell you whether the failure is coincidence or a software issue.
