MacBook dead; Magsafe turns yellow when PWR button is pushed...

Yeah, so my MacBook just went blank for no reason at all....20% battery life remaining when it went kablooey. Tried restart, no go....plugged in the power cord, which displays a normal green light until I hit the Power button, then it turns yellow. I've never seen a yellow light on my MagSafe power adapter before, only amber and green....what's going on? Is my MacBook toast?
