Macbook delivery in uk

    i ordered my macbook this morning at 9am, 2.2ghz,120gb a sleeve and also got 3 year support for 778 quid. Got an email about 3 hours ago saying it has shipped and it should be delivered on or before the 21st, any idea if it will arrive before then? so bloody excited!!!

    the delivery date you get , is usually correct.

    If you tailored your order and/or macbook spec then it will probably arrive that day or maybe if your lucky the day before.
    If you already own a mac you can install a tracking widget and put your order number in the tracking widget for detailed info as to whereabouts in the world your macbook is :)

    Was it an edu discount? Cos £778 is a bloody good price ;)

    ye it was HE discount, managed to get 3 years warrenty for 44 pound. Ordered 4gbs of ram (2 x 2gb) from play.com for only 55 quid as well, hopefully wont regret this purchase, my first mac!! Its the standard model, so would it be possible that i will have it tomorrow or saturday!! i just cant wait at the moment, currently using my easy note which is CRAP!!! power cable is mangled have to fiddle with it every few mins and very slow!!! hopefully mac will come to the rescue! anyone know how football manager performs on a mac!

    I does make the fans rev up a bit on the macbook but it runs fine, I play it very regularly on the same macbook as you are getting albeit with 2.5GB ram.

    Love the HE discount, going to miss that after I graduate.

    i play it on my macbook all the time runs fine does get a bit hot though :p

    It takes about 4 seconds to start up.
    Load Last game takes about 15 seconds with the following settings

    i mean while playing is it quick between games???

    My only other point of reference is an iMac but I would say that it was quick.
